they are current using a 8 inch bit to get through the salt - then they'll pobably reduce that to a 6 1/2 inch bit which will enable them to drill though to targets - by using this bit they can go beyond 16000ft - no addition cost.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that this is a wildcat in the sence that the company doesnt know exactly how deep or how thick these zones are?

total depth and time? I estimate about 8-10 more days.

remember they're at 14,200ft 200 ft to Leadville? 500ft of Leadville? then Macracken...plenty of depth to go and I'm confident they can make it.
