i bought gdn many years ago when it was trading at around 20 cents....over the months i held it patiently , it moved up and down between 20-30 when all of a sudden it took off...30....35...40....45 , i watched with amazement.
not knowing what to do with the first spec i was making good money on , i was unsure what to to, should i hold should i sell....what what what.....
eventually i gave in to the panic that set in and i sold out between .55 and .60 cents then watched it climb to 1.00 and slightly over....i kicked myself a little for not holding my nerve but now as i read this thread at 4am in the morning i know i did the right thing even though i did not know it all those years ago.
some you win, some you loose , heck i know i have taken a bath on some other specs (i.e mls) ....yet i still trade these high risk specs as i love the rush when i get it right and every now and then (i.e. tam @.01, [email protected] ) we get it right and make some serious cash.
thats why I trade them, why do you?
Note: ok mgx wasn't a spec but i reamed it good during the gfc :D
