Too much speculation going on here.
What is confirmed:
The Chinese were aware (if not part) of the deal to acquire Rand Uranium and were willing to pay 53c for their share.
I'd trust Chinese buying over Americans any day of the week. If they thought it was a bad deal they simply would not have bought in. They did buy in however and bought in large.
