Successful applicants for Round 2 of the GDP grants will be...

Successful applicants for Round 2 of the GDP grants will be announced shortly. There are 5 only available (x $7M ea) and there are 8 listed applicants. Who will receive these? I think the politics this time will favour distributed geographic regions with some aversion to those who have received grants previously. However, with the vagueries of politics, after the REDP effort, one can never rule out anything, and a grant could be offered to Macquarie Is for which the penguins still have to form a company.

My form guide is as follows:

KEN, Midlands Tas
GRK, Perth Basin, WA, with UWA
TEY, Parachilna Project, SA, JV partner AGL
GER, Geelong Power Project, VIC, with Lakes, Wasabi,VicPet

and one of
HRL, Koroit Project, VIC,
GDY, Bulga tenement, NSW
PAX Tirrawarra SA, and
SAU miss out.
These last few are harder to place as merit might be displaced by political expediency.
