At the AGM there will be a vote for a SPP with the minimum price being $0.50 or what is allowed by a listing rule (check out the AGM notice). Note - They have not yet determined the price. They are just seeking approval for the SPP with some boundary conditions.
I was wondering whether the market would track down to those levels or stay steady as we wait the results of the Jolokia stimulation.
Positive news in the near future should be Jolokia results, delivery of the new rig. On the down side we have the SPP, negative Jolokia results, delays to the new rig.
Will the market stay at lower levels until the SPP is executed or will the market digest positive news and allow the SPP to raise more money at the appropriate time? I don't know!
There is no date set for the potential SPP. They are seeking approval first and then (I guess) would time the execution until after they have delivered some positive results in the field.
