I heard her roar, from a distance. For me, Cougar remains a curiosity, and my minimum parcel (which I prefer to think of as an expensive newsletter) is a token gesture only.
Perhaps in a generation or two we will see Cougar VRB technology (using Australia's vast vanadium reserves) being coupled with geothermal energy to create an exportable energy commodity. I've read studies suggesting VRBs could be used to power automobiles - the scope from there would be huge, with vast impact on regional energy security.
The delays reported by GDY today are mildly disappointing, but nothing to be concerned about. Hopefully the new vibration sensor will eliminate future delays of this kind.
