Power transmission lines are supported by steel lattice towers. These most definately would have been used for the Innaminka line. What was the voltage of power transmssion to Innaminka? Was it 11kV, 22kV?

Timber is only used on lower voltage distribution lines and are never used in SA. In SA 'stoby poles' are used which are 2 pieces of iron on the outside with a middle piece of concrete. Termite, heat, and fire proof.
