Hi goldreverre,
My comment was not precise enough. Let me qualify this by inserting a paragraph from this article;
https://www.pv-magazine-australia.c...-cheaply-manufacturer-batteries-in-australia/Taking Swedish battery developer Northvolt’s costings, the Gelion team discovered for them to retune an existing lead-acid battery factory for 1 GWh production capability would cost US$16 million (AU$21.7 million). To build a new lithium-ion factory with a 1 GWh capacity, on the other hand, would cost US$125 million (AU$170 million). A game-changing difference.
I also managed an entry through the IPO. No regrets so far. Quoting the Commercial Director whilst in London for the IPO he intimated that 2023 would be huge. I am holding long term.
Cheers,
IHS
