I agree that side of RBSS is well enough catered for but I think they must also be doing many things right in other ways to be given a request for tender, with their preferred batteries as the preferred solution.
And then there is making enough waves globally that Anaergia reach out and then Redflow find themselves exposed to a US State that will be spending USD $Bs in the coming years on energy efficiency, resiliency, renewable energy and other methods to get to Carbon neutral asap.
True it is about a grant application but then maybe that is more than just Anaergia getting a free lunch so to speak, they have operations globally and then in the application there were a number of criteria important to the California Energy Commission, that could allow the CEC to overcome issues they are required to resolve across their states power grid. That choice by Optus came out of a trial in the Daintree Rainforest a while ago.
