SPP like you said were not attractive as on Market purchase were equal or less than the offer. I entered GEM primarily due to on market SP were less than fund holders at price of 0.77. If I was an existing holder eligible to SPP, I would still buy on market at 0.77 instead of 0.8 through the offer.
For next week or near term, factor to drive SP significantly is rent reduction. Its been a while since GEM in talks with landlords, how is this progressing? Surely agreements will be made soon right? I hope the talks are not carrying on until pandemic is over in Australia!
Worst case scenario getting less than 10% rent reduction will see GEM going below 70c
Best case scenario 50% reduction we could be touching $1 in less than 4 weeks
