If installer buys from Redflow, I can't tell if I am being ripped off by the only installer designated to service me. If I buy from Redflow, it's up to me to get the best price I can by negotiating with them, and I select an installer from a group of accredited installers in my area = competition to my benefit.

There are numerous installers for the Tesla Powerwall in my area, I would just like the same opportunity with a ZBM.

Because if Redflow sold directly to customers, they would have to provide support to those customers, deal with repairs, etc, etc. They want to sell the batteries to people who have the resources to support customers.
