    i agree with you, but with the caveat that if you treat lithium well by not running it through complete (80% depth of discharge(DOD)) cycles the benefits to the battery are exponential .....
    It will come down again to the energy needs of the consumer and how far they actually drive there car , or when they drive it ....Some of the VPP stuff too, when it comes to feeding into the grid might only be for 5 or 10 minutes
