No matter how horrid the artist is, there is always something to be learnt, admired even, or even pitied (when you listen to how his father treated him) - there is a certain aesthetic, but I would not wish to be surrounded by HIS paintings, the way I am with yours, which are also deep, but the aesthetic of your pictures appeals to me.
Many artists use their craft as a transcendental exercise, as a cleansing, a ridding of their deepest angst
Would love to be around in 100 years to see if his paintings are still being traded
