Hi Picastoc A belated answer to your question re your 'dig' - I had same friends round yesterday with a new - and also 'old' friend - who spent part of his youth with the subject - many years ago, in a Muslim country. Both young men (they spent their teenage years in said country, no girlfriends, because all the Christian girls were constantly chaperoned and Muslim girls were out of the question - seems they felt very hard done by - both had European parents who were posted there by their companies. Said friend noted the 'dig' in the poetry, 'my' friend never did, he was just so pleased that someone bothered - and it was a long poem detailing important episodes from his and his wife's life - all done in a humorous way. My youngest daughter who is something of an orator, presented it. He was simply flattered. thanks for your comment. Taurisk
