@NoBoDe - totally amazing movie - begins with the St Nicholas custom I told you about, except there never was an angel, just St Nicholas and the Devil (Krampus) - I am grateful you kept on pointing the movie out to me. However for anyone not familiar with communism and its post-war history in Eastern Europe it is probably not interesting. I remember working with an impoverished Czech lady, who was the daughter of a former ambassador - she was old enough to be retired, but had to work, so the company I worked for gave her a kind of pro-forma job because she had never trained to work - and she dressed exactly like that grandma in the movie.
