I don’t think there was a strong link with working or not working per se, more so the type of male working in certain industries and the dominant culture and behaviours of those males working in those certain industries.
Whether they are more likely to engage in risky behaviours or are more likely not to recognise the risks associated with their behaviours I don’t know.
