"Young immature boys (Grade 8 ) can not handle the fact that girls have periods. Yes, girls have periods and boys don't. Boys don't neeed this exposure. Girls need privacy. "
Is this not a strong case for education of both boys and girls pre puberty on how the body works????
Kids of 10 are well capable of leaning this stuff at least at a basic level -
then, when they know this stuff - they aren't as fascinated by it - and, certainly are aware of the information.
As far as the young girls needing privacy goes --------
can someone please tell me what young girls need privacy for OUTSIDE the cubicles --------
what is it exactly that young girls -------- or young boys do OUTSIDE cubicles - in the public area where you wash your hands --------- that requires such privacy?????????????
I'm not aware that the exposure of naked hands to be washed is such a riveting process
and, yes - I'm serious ----------------- I suspect that our thoughts on this public wash area being 'sacred gender ground' are just socialised bullshit - indoctrination -------------- no more.
