The Bourbon Topaz is an offshore supply vessel. It was previously at the rig and went for a run to port. Not sure what supplies it would be picking up, best case scenario would be well testing equipment!
Could just be food or other consumables though. I am confused about the tug, maybe it was used as a standby vessel for when the Bourbon Topaz left but they still had the anchor handler (ESWAGT Connector) in the area so this argument doesn't make much sense. Perhaps the tug was also used as a supply vessel and they had to wait for calmer weather to offload due to lack of DP2 (could explain the ships track). I have no idea. News would be good as I am obviously spending far too much time speculating.
