We don't know if this has an upfront or not - they gave zero info (which I like at this stage) but I assume there is none as well.
other pharma have helped shareholders pay for development to this point with their upfronts. If there were zero interest (as has been suggested here regularly over the past few months) than it could be argued that we have made no progress. As the duck thread suggested there has been lots of activity despite the disappointment of the Jannsen news and now we have the proof that there has been activity and that big pharma are still interested - in fact the same Group that have worked on it in the past are back for another bite (maybe they don't talk to each other across the companies?) which I find compelling.
let the duck paddle and watch. The second half is here an we have some good news early. Hopefully there is more to come.
