I have had solid feedback re the pedigree of GBI and have had substantial due diligence done over the past month by myelf and people in the US and Europe.
Genera's product shapes up well versus the competition and has a great partner in Sonic Healthcare (Sonic will do >$2.2 Billion in revenue this year and is the world's 3rd biggest pathology company...in other words the 3rd best possible customer that Genera could secure for the sale of its PapType test).

Biggest competitors are Qiagen/Digene, Roche, Gen-Probe and Thirdwave...Roche is the gorilla here but its platform (called Linear Array) costs anywhere between $150 and $175 for a path lab to run versus the others incl Genera's test that costs around $20
