If @sf120 in the PEK forum is now even advocating for a sale to Shenghe instead of waiting for a possible 'game over,' which I just mentioned here for GBE before his PEK post, what lies ahead for us here at GBE?
In the fictitious GBE-China scenario (>80% equity stake) and starting at 40c (AO-Zhong entry), China (ECE, Shenghe & Co) could be as generous as possible and offer the remaining <20% perhaps 10-20c. Whether before or after the BFS would be irrelevant, because this fictitious GBE scenario could end just as it could end with PEK, especially since there are apparently no white knights anywhere at GBE who could suddenly appear on the scene and theoretically make a better offer, as was hoped or hoped for with PEK.
GBE has had all the time in the world so far, and they let it slip away until now, just throwing the last coins into the parking meter until every last cent is gone. Game over!
I can already hear the China fan club chorusing: Maybe, maybe not!
But that's understandable, because it probably wouldn't end up to their detriment!
