At present LCM can produce 330,000kg of Magnet Alloys, A typical EV using the platform power train (a lithium-ion battery and an electric motor), if it uses a Rare Earth Permanent Magnets based motor (REPMM) will need between 2.5 and 5 kg of NdFeB magnets.
A typical magnet for EV's in Weight is Approx 30% total Rare Earths for an EV 2.5kg-5kg REPM (~0.75kg - 1.5kg of Rare Earths)
enough magnet alloy for ~ 300,000 EVs, once these magnets are made and cut to the different shapes of Magnets all the cuttings will be returned to Ionic Technologies for processing and refining back to Separated High Purity Rare Earth Oxides, no waste
