The simple fact that he used Makuutu which is probably the most "fundamentally uneconomic" project on the Planet, 640ppm TREO before processing! demonstrates that he has no understanding of Rare Earth economics. In fact, he has only just recently stated, that the only RE source worth mining are Monazite sands. He then compounds his ignorance by saying recycling is a fix to all problems; while neglecting to realize that at every "wash and repeat" cycle, around 10% of the input is lost in the process ~ an ever-diminishing supply is a stop gap but certainly not a fix.
