Absolutely, that's what IXR and posters here have been saying for so long.
TH has constantly opined that IXR is "in the right space at the right time".
And this is proof of that.
We have already seen that the rationale for the Belfast facility (and importantly for global expansion of IXR Tech) has improved exponentially.
- REE prices, particularly heavy R/E have increased. Observers have kept claiming that any potential Western supply chain producers need to see higher REE pricing - well that has now eventuated.
- physical supply of REE has now been strangled - China's effective bans will not only underpin the pricing, but physically constrain the supply.
- this just makes the Belfast Scoping Study more realistic, but shows just how valuable that project will be.
- this China ban has already got Western Govts panicking
- it will galvanize potential equity participants and J/V interests to pull their finger out.
- it demonstrates IXR Tech's ability to be quick-to-market.
- IXR's modular processing ability surely must now be very attractive to many Govts and industry
- why wouldn't companies like General Dynamics, Lockheed etc be vitally interested in securing supply of REE from IXR ???
