IXR's Ionic Technologies will be producing lightREOs Nd/Pr 350,000kg and HeavyREOs Dy/Tb 50,000kg. Ionic Technologies IPs can also process and refine MREC and RE Mining Concentrates into High Purity Separated REOs, that information will be available this year from Brazil, where Viridion Rare Earth Technologies will have a Pilot plant that will be processing MREC from VMMs Colossus Rare Earth Mining Project.

The Centro de Terras Raras is VMM’s pilot facility for MREC production, validating its low-cost, sustainable extraction process before full-scale operations begin in 2028. This positions Poços de Caldas as a strategic node in Western rare earth supply chains, reducing reliance on China.
