The Poms never like being left behind in history with non-competitive engineering achievements or standards. They like mechanical advantage and they get real proud on talking up and delivering new technologies and have brought the world much throughout history, especially in the last 300 years. But they rightfully are very conservative in thinking it all through as it really has to be "the best of British". But still, they have an understanding of timeliness for delivery of innovations and they certainly have the economic capacity to ensure success in developing new industry. We have a real opportunity here to develop and bring sustainably produced high demand products via a unique process at competitive prices. Why wouldn't the British Government want to get right into this and create further strength for jobs and secure the ongoing industry needs for their automotive industry, as well as for many other outcomes, including recycling of waste products? Let's raise a glass to Isaac Newton who helped get us to the moon and back, Rolls Royce who helped out with the Merlin V12 engine in a desperate time of need, R.J. Mitchell for the Supermarine Spitfire, the cavity magnetron by John Randall and Harry Boots for developing radar systems as well as microwave ovens and linear particle accelerators, George Stephenson with his steam train and rail guage....the list goes on throughout history and will keep going on. We have a lot to thank the Brits for; before, during and now after the Industrial Revolution. And so, in a similar way, we will look back in awe of Queen's University Belfast for truly "Shaping a Better World since 1845" and integrating with United Kingdom industry in providing global solutions. Let's go! I know I will be proud of this investment and feel good about the technology for helping to make a better world. This message is not intended to be financial advice - only my own thoughts.
