Yes, i do appreciate the signal exits despite the noise... but filter is fast becoming blocked.
Regardless of ones politics or loyalties, one can't escape the feeling that, whether for better or worse, monumental events are upon us, and not just in critical minerals... though recent Iran/Israel events could soon increase demand for certain critcal elements as hi-tec munitions and their delivery systems are dispersed.
Someone made the observation that fossil fuels changed the world's politcal dynamic with the advent of the petro dollar leading US's currency primacy. While there's plenty of events stateside and internationally that are challenging the US's hegemonies in many sectors, the increasing pressure to move from fossil fuels into an electrified future suggests critcal minerals are aptly named: unfettered access to them is now critical.
When I say "unfettered" it doesn't necessarily mean the ability to manufacture either but that certainly would be an advantage. Like with the US's past and present involvements in Middle-East oil conflicts, it does certainly mean an overarching control of them. And though diplomacy and mutual interest may be the first step in controlling foreign supply, it's isn't white doves that brings compliance. It's weapons. And as we're all finding out, the most convincing weapons need critical minerals.
Ergo, critical mineral have the capacity to change everything we know about our world... and that's a signal that will pierce the noise!
