The proposed U.S. facility will process Mixed Rare Earth Carbonate (MREC) from Viridis’ Colossus Project in Brazil, Viridion will utilize Ionic Technologies' proprietary separation technology, aiming to fast-track studies supporting U.S. engagement and downstream financing. An updated scoping study is underway to integrate the U.S. refinery plans with Viridion’s existing strategy, targeting completion in the second half of 2025. The facility is expected to produce approximately 4,000 tonnes per annum of separated REOs, focusing on magnet REOs and heavier rare earth elements, remembering we still have to complete a Scoping Study and a PFS with our technology to process and Separate MREC into Separated REOs, but in the meantime we can compare our technology with what is being used at Mountain Pass by MP Materials for a bit of fun, while we wait for these studies to be completed in the H2 2025, we also know now the amount of REOs that will be produced, maybe some time this week I'll have a look what that will look like.
