Once again, misleading,The reason IXR is being brought into the discussion by the HotCopper poster is due to forum speculation, competitive sentiment, or attempts to conflate different rare earth companies for their own narrative. This is common very on this thread, where posters sometimes try to link unrelated companies or projects to influence sentiment or create confusion. IXR was never mention in that document.
The "UK Infrastructure: A 10-Year Strategy" was published in June 2025 and focuses on the UKʼs physical infrastructure: transport, energy, housing, etc.
"Invest 2035: the UKʼs Modern Industrial Strategy" is a separate, forthcoming strategy focused on industrial growth sectors, innovation, and economic policy. As of June 2025,this strategy has only been released as a Green Paper (consultation draft), with the final version due next week in late June 2025. Focuses on FUNDING as I've posted many times on this thread
It was on page 72, and I posted what was on page 77, once again misleading, deceptive, and confusing shareholders with the UK Industrial Strategy 2035 INVEST 2035 with the UK Infrastructure - 10 year strategy Post #: 79502465
IMHO with FUNDING
The Spending Review 2025 and the Advanced Manufacturing Plan released last week are positive signals, with strategic focus and expanded funding for zero-emission vehicle supply chains, advanced manufacturing, and critical minerals, The UK's substantial funding and strategic focus on critical supply chains is excellent news for rare earths Recycling, midstream alloy making and magnet makers in automotive, defence, and wind energy, supporting both new processing projects and recycling innovations.
The Spending Review 2025, Industrial Strategy 2025 (will be released next week), and Critical Minerals Strategy 2025 are all being released in quick succession, The Industrial Strategy, originally slated for spring, was delayed until late June due to last-minute budget negotiations and the need to align spending plans.
This sequencing is deliberate: by aligning funding announcements with the publication of these strategies, the government can claim full credit for supporting strategic sectors like rare earths and advanced manufacturing.
The UK's Gov Critical Minerals Strategy 2025 and Industrial Strategy 2035 (INVEST 2035) this will have detailed information on funding support and investment strategies related to critical minerals and rare earths, including government and industrial initiatives, to understand available financial resources and policy measures.
The government wants to ensure that when it funds high-profile projects—especially those that address critical supply chain vulnerabilities and create green jobs—it gets maximum visibility and can link the funding directly to its new policy frameworks. The delay in funding for Ionic Technologies is best understood as a deliberate move by the UK government to synchronize major grant announcements with the release of its new Industrial (Invest 2035) and Critical Minerals Strategies and with the Spending Review just released, the window for major funding announcements is opening imminently, ensuring maximum public, political, and economic impact. With the government aiming to take full credit as part of its broader plan for industrial renewal and supply chain security.
