docmin24—shareholders are finally seeing in real time what I’ve been posting about Ionic Technologies for the past year. All the momentum, partnerships, and government validation we discussed are now materializing before everyone’s eyes, IXR’s technology is now proven, scalable, and being noticed by governments and OEMs globally. The world is waking up to the need for secure, sustainable rare earth supply chains, and IXR is in the box seat. The Belfast plant is running 24/7, producing high-purity magnet REOs and supporting real supply chain collaborations with EMR, LCM, VAC, FORD UK Govs ATF, APC, BGS, and NI + Stakeholders, IXR just delivered the first recycled magnet REOs to Brazil through Viridion, and the JV was selected for major Brazilian government funding.

With the UK funding, The UK government has already backed IXR with multiple grants and is now progressing the £85M ATF application for the commercial Belfast plant, with Tim Harrison confirming in his latest interview (above) that they have weekly engagement and are ticking off milestones, but IMHO UK politics involved here with, the Spending Review 2025 released last week, Industrial Strategy 2025 will be released around the 26th of June, followed soon after the Critical Minerals Strategy 2025 will all be released in quick succession, The Industrial Strategy, originally slated for spring, was delayed until late June due to last-minute budget negotiations and the need to align spending plans. This sequencing is deliberate: by aligning funding announcements with the publication of these strategies, the government can claim full credit for supporting strategic sectors like rare earths and advanced manufacturing.

The UK's Gov Critical Minerals Strategy 2025 and Industrial Strategy 2035 (INVEST 2035) this will have detailed information on funding support and investment strategies related to critical minerals and rare earths, including government and industrial initiatives, to understand available financial resources and policy measures.

The government wants to ensure that when it funds high-profile projects—especially those that address critical supply chain vulnerabilities and create green jobs—it gets maximum visibility and can link the funding directly to its new policy frameworks. The delay in funding for Ionic Technologies is best understood as a deliberate move by the UK government to synchronize major grant announcements with the release of its new Industrial (Invest 2035) and Critical Minerals Strategies and with the Spending Review just released, the window for major funding announcements is opening imminently, ensuring maximum public, political, and economic impact. With the government aiming to take full credit as part of its broader plan for industrial renewal and supply chain security. I've posted this many times.

On Australia: The missed opportunity is obvious: Australia could be leading, but instead, IXR’s game-changing tech is getting traction everywhere else first. As you said, they’re still talking about stockpiling when they should be enabling companies like IXR to build and supply the world and enabling real downstream value-add, Even with billions committed, projects like Ilukaʼs Eneabba and Arafuraʼs Nolans are years away from full-scale, and the focus is still on mining, not separation or recycling. Meanwhile, IXR is already operating a demonstration plant in Belfast and is on the cusp of commercial production, with proven tech and global partners lined up.

Yes, the UK government is taking longer than any of us would like. But as Tim explained, this is about more than just a few million pounds—itʼs about the UK securing a sovereign supply chain for magnet REOs to support its entire auto sector (over a million jobs depend on it). The funding process is slow because the stakes are high, and the government wants to get it right, especially with all the recent geopolitical shocks and Chinaʼs export restrictions. The good news is, IXR is in weekly discussions with the APC and UK government, and the grant is progressing through the final milestones. Once that lands, it's full acceleration mode.

Everything we've been discussing—about the value of IXRʼs IP, the strategic importance of separation and recycling, and the global rush for non-Chinese supply—is now being recognized at the highest levels. The market is finally catching up to the story. Once the UK funding is locked in, expect a major re-rate and a wave of definitive agreements with global OEMs and supply chain partners.
