IMHO, Part Funded by the ATF 25%, of $108M USD ~ $27.0MUSD, it's a known fact that the funding would be 25%

Private Investment Requirements

1. Strategic Corporate Investors: Partnerships with automotive manufacturers or supply chain companies (like Ionic's existing relationships with EMR, Ford UK and Less Common Metals) could provide equity investment in exchange for offtake agreements or supply chain security

2. Institutional Investors: Private equity funds specializing in critical minerals and clean energy transition, similar to The Energy & Minerals Group that has invested in other UK rare earth projects.

3. Government-Backed Investment: The UK Infrastructure Bank

4. Government backed debt Fund through The National Wealth Fund

5. Private Equity investments from Infrastructure or Cleantech Funds.

We have always known that IXR was only going to receive that percentage of Funding (25%)

IMHO the ATF funding approval will trigger the conversion of MOUs to binding agreements with EMR, LCM, VAC and FORD. the Government backing provides the commercial credibility and certainty these sophisticated partners and investors before committing to definitive contracts and further funding.

Bottom Line: The funding from the ATF will de-risk the commercial plant for private investors and triggers the partnerships formalization process, enabling IXR to achieve the acceleration once funding is secured.


Ionic Technologies' Funding Track Record
