After what happened in Uganda with the mining licence delays, you’d think people would have a better sense of how government timelines work in reality. We all saw how a single change in the law froze everything for over a year—nothing could move forward until the new regulations were sorted and approvals lined up. It’s the same story everywhere: government processes run on their own clocks, not on company or market expectations. I’d love to see someone try to spin that as IXR’s fault!
