The Ugandan Government’s budget is hemorrhaging, this new 15% equity in all mining projects will most likely lift to 20-25% over the next 24 months.
Fair enough too, their main source of income is from mining and agriculture taxation.
While you would also expect their Royalty tax rates to increase as well.
