Now what could this mean, assuming it's true?

Electric Viking is as good as it gets IMO re EVs etc, I like his forward thinking re more broadly market interpretation. Now will the EU grow a pair to stop their industries being obliterated or sadly simply bend over and take it dog style? Some peps will want Merc/BM for the badge and pay price sure but that won't save them. Both those companies sell on premium price points. EVs are expensive enough!!

Widespread adoption of cheaper models can only be good for the market a whole. Some will then sell go into higher models, also any REE's recycling later are "here and now" not ever to return to China GOOD!

I don't see any substantial alternatives to REE's before 2030+ and by then new products might well appear requiring our product , but that's a guess. AI sentiment and FACT is a very disruptive force, it's the great unknown everywhere, are we matrix bound?
