Also found something of note/interest.
Looks like SMM has added "high purity" La and Ce. What's interesting is the spot price is 5 times higher...
For clarity normal La/Ce prices are listed for 99.5%-99.9% purity.
high purity La/Ce prices are listed for 99.99%-99.999% (Commonly referred to as 4N or 5N.
I only find this interesting as it would appear to indicate a substantive uplift is received prices for purer products. Noting the difference in contained La and Ce is miniscule but the higher price received is presumably related to the cost of refining the products to such high purity.
I wonder how the Ionic Tech patents hold up in relation to purity of products produced. Anyways - didn't think the price difference would be 5 times larger for 99.99%+ compared to 99.9%. Gd for instance only shows a 10% premium in price for a similar purity uplift.
