Imagine being a first time reader of these threads...

So apparently IXR isn't getting it's Mining Licence because it didn't pay baksheesh
Which was all part of a secret plot by the Chinese to usurp IXR and Rwenzori as titleholders of Makuutu
Naturally this is due to Makuutu being such a valuable asset that the Chinese couldn't bear it falling into Western hands
All of the above is apparently IXR's fault for dropping the ball

This ofcourse contradicts many other posts.
Apparently Makuutu is not valuable at all, it's uneconomic
If the Chinese controlled REO markets don't lift, the project will falter and this stuff that the Chinese are allegedly desperate to acquire will actually stay in the ground
Even if the price rises, ore from Makuutu has no relevance as there are no customers left to buy it, they have all been satisfied by other projects.

But all of the above is actually superfluous.
IXR can't afford to relocate local landowners so the Mining Licence can never be issued.
Even if they can, terrorists are en route and the mine location is about to become a war zone.
If war can be avoided, doesn't matter, Ebola will wipe everyone out anyway.

The company explains it is following due process set down by the Government
This includes waiting for the appropriate legislation to ensure the correct protocols are followed
It also is pressing on with it's plans to build the demo plant at Makuutu
And it's plans to establish a REE refinery in the USA
Explore it's additional tenements at Makuutu
Increase it's ownership of Makuutu
