I think the west, particularly the US will bypass China supply critical elements considering:
Geopolitical tensions,
Tech cold war, chip and critical elements,
China war mongering with Taiwan, the US will defend Taiwan as Taiwan's economy and chip tech to valuable to fall into China's hands,
I think China would make a grave miscalculation to attempt a move on Taiwan as they have to many vulnerabilities compared with a united West, namely oil supply, food supply, IMO
Slide of China's economy into a state of deflation,
China real-estate collapse, Evergrande, Country Garden, Zhong International Trust, could lead to a financial Chinese economy meltdown it seems.
China/ Russia demography/ pending population collapse, just a matter of time...
Patience is required by the west, time will sort out Russia and China IMO,
