One immediate question, What eventually happens to the Toxic elements that are to be stored in this "dedicated waste containment"
Section 4.7.1 states:
Presumably this proposed waste containment (that does not seem to appear on any site plans) will eventually contain around 6,000t+ of Radionuclides along with many thousands of tons of other waste metals that have been dropped out prior to RE recovery. Those metals are not going to disappear over the life of the mine, which suggests to me that that word "NO" in 4.7.1 is either a deliberate lie or the person who wrote it is incompetent !
It still amazes me tat a document that contains multiple references to the Rn's problems of Hard Rock mines, fails to specifically address the issue even though they know there is a similar problem with Makuuta ! instead they bury the problem with a 2 line catch all , then totally ignore that it ever existed just 30 pages later !
