From what Tim has said previously, FID is 2H of 2024 and that sovereign funds won't just shoot one arrow but many across the supply chain all at once and that is very difficult to orchestrate but Tim feels "comfortable that Makuutu will be a part of that".

It has been mentioned as well that getting the extra ownership of Makuutu was a requirement from the offtake/partnership so hopefully once the 94% is locked in some time after that i would expect the strategy forward should be revealed. As for a date on that, my uneducated guess is either July or August with FID 1-3 months after.

To me, the Makuutu strategy is already drafted up just waiting for the final signature once its ready. The Belfast and Japan/South Korea strategy are more of what i am interested in hearing about. Sounds like there has been a lot of interest in the Recycling side so once we get the feasibility study for a commercial recycle plant i would not be surprised to see some left field deals/partnerships.
