What we all need is for Europe and the US to announce a separate rare earth price that pays a premium to western producers to ensure reliable supply chains. Tariffs on Chinese goods is not going to get mines into production. Some clarity and confidence on pricing absolutely will.
The problem is China responds with action and the west responds with words. The whole
mining sector needs that to change.
