Tim touched on this in the last webinar

iii) The EU will need to make sure that end-of-life products (and waste materials) containing rare earths stay
in Europe by introducing and implementing regulations and standards that facilitate the re-processing and
    recycling of products.

Belfast Ionic Tech will not be buying from China...they will be buying locally.
    At what rate?
Well if you cant sell it to China, you can only sell it locally to a handful of recyclers like us.
Additionally, If i was crunching a deal for supply, I would make sure all the offcuts and swarf would be returned for recycling as part of the deal.
These wind generators can have around 5T of rare earth material in them and the UK has over 11000 of them, Germany has nearly 30,000 and both are early adopters, with many coming up for upgrading.

And Belfast can do deals with the EU and the UK.

iv) the EU and its Member States should pull all financial levers
including state aid, such as a dedicated Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI).

Throw in government support and you are on a winner!

And I wont even mention the US....
