I am not sure how exactly this MOU with the EU works, for multinational companies like us.
We have already received funding fro the UK, with hopefully more to follow. But can we also receive funding from AUS, with no local operation? Its certainly worth a shot... Governments generally want an impact to the local economy, job creation etc.... before funding domestically. So I understand the UK funding, creating jobs in Northern Ireland and the Uk, but I am not sure if we can get anything from Madeleine King's office. She did mention IXR back in September 2023 at the Africa downunder conference, but so far, nothing has come of that.
Probably more of a chance pushing the point in the UK, with the new relevant Labour cabinet ministers, who have already been appointed. We are already on their radar and I am tipping the new government will be as receptive if not better. So hopefully the boys are on a plane and lobbying as soon as possible and can give us some good news soon.
