I believe all countries should follow suit. The resources of a country belong to their people. Quite happy for the ppl of Uganda to share in the prospective wealth of IXR.
Just as a matter of fact, didn’t the new law allow for a gov stake of a maximum of 15% (so possibly lower)? If so, that means it’s plausible that IXR could end up withb 90 or 95% of the project?
