All very valid points and I agree that hires/promotions should be based on meritocracy rather than diversity for the sake of diversity, however it is rather disappointing to see such a high gender gap in PWN. I certainly wasn't trying to be overly critical but when a company includes ESG values as part of their corporate presentation then, to me, that sets the bar higher (than say the average micro-cap on the asx) and I would like to think they "walk the walk not just talk the talk". I do not know what behind the scenes initiatives the team may have in place to address the gap, Bahay and other senior management may be doing their best via mentoring and other schemes to close the gap. Maybe these initiatives can be included in their presos I also agree with @mer that the calibre of the employees hired appear to be all exceptionally well qualified and their placements well deserved.

However I do believe that gender diversity is fundamentally the right thing to do because of the value it adds, not just to tick a box on a scorecard and unfortunately for whatever reasons there does appear to be, currently, low gender diversity in PWN. As a few posters pointed out hopefully this will be less of an issue as the company matures and employee ranks grow.

Agreed that was very harsh, Apologies, I totally miscronstrued your post.
