I find that a really interesting view. I work in the space where we help our clients with Feasibility Studies and delivery projects in the mining space where they have tailings and residual mud Areas, and I can tell you categorically, they are not able to expand production or extend the life of their mines without getting Enviro approval for these facilities and the massive focus that I see in the bidding of these opportunities is how the Consultants are going to help them get the Enviro approval over the line. This is existing mines, let along new ones.
For the new ones, they are not getting off the ground unless they can prove to the regulators how they are going to deal with the tailings in a responsible manner, what new innovations are they bringing to the project so that it's not same ol same ol. Then they have to prove how sustainable they are going to be with the precious water resource needed for their mines.
I think regulators and Mine approvals and expansions are forcing the issues now, tailings dams are a huge focus globally for the Global miners to the point they are creating global expert panels to help them meet regulations for existing tailings dams let alone new ones. I see this every day, I am supporting these global panels bids and see what clients are asking for.
PWN is in the sweet spot, they only need the first client to say yes before the others follow. As we know, that could be literally days away. The pipeline is huge, Lithium is on the nose in South America unless they can produce it sustainably. Huge opportunities for little ol PWN.
