Labor* is much more progressive, but campaigned on a moderate policy on climate. Carbon reduction of 43% by 2030, which is quite modest. in contrast the Teals want 60%, and the Greens want 80% by 2030. The LNP were nowhere on ESG.
They are not so progressive that they will stop coal seam gas, but they are progressive enough to drive ESG change in the way mines and gas fields operate in the country which is the best outcome for us.
I also suspect our next targets are Nickel and Copper for ames, and the Labor government will be strongly in favour of opening and expanding these mines in the country as it is part of their goal to make batteries in this country from minerals produced here. This will have minimal impact on us but good to know they are pragmatic about the need to mine
