I had a look at the Parkway site, read a presentation. Also had a look at VYS. Interesting.
Cant find the reason that evaporation ponds for CSG brines are very limited in Queensland. Assume it is enviromental, either the risk of ground seepage or accidental discharge.
Companies like PWN must have good growth prospects, because of the necessity for reducing enviromental degradation. But probably a competitive field. PWN seems to have a high profile in CSG brine. Possibly merger and acquisition potential I imagine.
I am a bit skeptical about how much value the products produced will ultimately be worth. Suspect a significant proportion will still need to be encapsuled. Assume there will be flexibility built into the processes to accomodate changing economic variables, values.
So the catslyst to watch out for would be take over or significant contracts signed. Things hard to predict time wise and causing rapid rerate.
