You are absolutely right when you are talking about old approvals. If you follow the mining and extraction industry today you will find that new approvals cannot be obtained without approved remediation processes within the development application if they are required. I am sure that there are a number of applications or intended applications held up due to the inability to find an approved tech to overcome the pollution involved. It is at that new level that PWN still has an ability to onsell their solution or begin modelling a solution using their patent technique. I do think there will be a tipping point where old approvals too will eventually receive formal notices of the need to cleanup their act and not be able to pass on the liability by selling out. Maybe not in the immediate future but the inequity which currently exists between old and new approvals in relation to pollution must eventually be solved - it is plainly out of kilter.
