I think the current path was forced on them after the initial premise didn't pan out. Peddling IP and US Brine field were headline acts that never turned up and PWN had to go the buy-businesses-and-tool-up route. Given all the announcements about various waste streams they were throwing at their pilot plant, I was a bit taken back at the 'we've cracked it' moment. Wait, what? You've been putting out all these announcements and Q&As and yacking about potential clients and evaluations and you've only just cracked it . . . Phew. Can see why they kept that one quiet.

One thing Bahay has been very good at - in my opinion - is running interference while getting things up to speed. Mentions about opportunities overseas, evaluations of waste streams from potential customers, stealth mode, etc. A bunch of stuff that it looks like they weren't ready for, outside chances that were quietly dropped with a nod to client confidentiality.
