POG back over USD1800. I am sure this has surprised many, as the bounce was alot quicker than many predcited.
Lest hope this is a gentle climb up to the announcement of USA stimulus.
I would assume the markets are acknowledging that the Biden massive stimulus is a given and that a possiblity of Democrat holding power in the senate is a realistic possibiity.
In addition, I virus has wreaked significant devastation, greater than most would admit. All economies will require significant stimulus.
We, in Australia, have dealt with the virus much better than most countries, yet we still require stimulus and deficits that are historically high.
2020 has been a very bad year for many.
